3 star USC remains strongly in the mix for WR Jonathan Rumph 6'5" 215lbs of Holmes JC, MS and the Gamecocks are letting Rumph know how they feel about him. "South Carolina is calling me all the time and keeping up with me," Rumph said. "Coach Spurrier jr. is saying I could be a big factor in their offense and they are trying to get me to be a big factor in what they are trying to build." Rumph is from West Columbia and is home this week but won't get over to see USC before he returns to Mississippi Sunday. Alabama is now showing Rumph interest and he's planning to visit there in August. "They want to see me before they offer," he said. Rumph visited Michgian State last month. He's also been to USC. Rumph also has offers from Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Missisippi State, Kentucky, Nebraska, Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas and Iowa State.
