Sunday USC basketball coach Lamont Paris gained his first public commitment for the 2023 class in 6-8 Colling Murray-Boyles, formerly of AC Flora. He will play this season for a school in Utah. Murray-Boyles led Flora to the 4A State Championship last season and was named the 4A Player of the Year. He averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks per game.
His coach at AC Flora was Joshua Staley, who has since become the head coach at Ridge View. Monday night, Staley joined us on SportsTalk to break down Murray-Boyles’ game and what he will bring to the Gamecocks.
