USC in final seven with QB Ryan Hilinski

USC survived the next cut in the competition for prized QB Ryan Hilinski of Orange, CA. Hilinski Sunday night announced a new short list of seven, whittling his prospects down from his previous short list of 18.
Joining the Gamecocks in the final group with Hilinski re SEC comrades Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Rounding out the seven are Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon.
Hilinski visited USC over the weekend with members of his family including his brother who will study medicine at the school Hilinski chooses. The visit was his second to USC and he plans to return for an official visit.
This week Hilinski is going to Hawaii for spring break. He will return to Georgia for the spring game April 14th and he plans another visit to Ole Miss as well.
He will announce his decision May 26th, the birthday of his late brother Ty who played quarterback at Washington State.
