South Carolina could land their first commitment for the 2026 class. QB Landon Duckworth (6-3 187) of Jackson, AL plans to announce his college commitment Friday, which will be a week after his visit to the Gamecock cookout. Duckworth also visited the Gamecocks for their spring game in April. Earlier this summer Duckworth made visits to Florida and TCU. His other offers include Nebraska, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and UCF.
