Junior Wide Receiver/Punt Returner Among 49 on Preseason List
COLUMBIA, S.C. (August 2, 2012) – University of South Carolina junior wide receiver/punt returner Ace Sanders is one of 49 players named to the 2012 Paul Hornung Award, as presented by Texas Roadhouse.
The Paul Hornung Award, now in its third season, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football by the Louisville Sports Commission and football legend Paul Hornung.
Sanders, a 5-8, 175-pounder from Bradenton, Fla., has 54 career receptions for 699 yards with four touchdowns. In addition, he has returned 25 punts for a 6.6-yard average with one touchdown. (more)
