3 star OL Rod Johnson (6-6 315) of Delray Beach, FL committed to Florida in March but is still looking at other schools including USC. He visited the Gamecocks last month. “I loved it,” Johnson said. “The way they work in the weight room and how hard they work in the field.” Johnson also has been to Auburn and will go to Florida for Friday Night Lights. This fall he plans to take official visits to USC and West Virginia. USC has not offered but Johnson feels they are interested. He plans to talk to recruiter Grady Brown Friday. Florida is still the favorite for the tackle who calls his commitment strength a six out of ten.
