Richard Marcinko, founder and first commander of SEAL Team Six, passed away on Christmas at age 81.  Nicknamed Demo Dick and the Sharkman of the Delta, Marcinko was a fierce Vietnam War warrior and an expert on counterintelligence and special operations.  Fair winds and following seas, sir.

Yes...classic "outside the box" thinker.  He was not a big fan of CYA structures that prevented him from completing his missions. Big believer in Murphy's Law. Enjoyed his Bombay Sapphire Gin.  Personally, I also enjoyed his works of fiction also.
