The Vols have a slight possession margin advantage of .065, but we're still flattening the bubble of the Bama loss.

We need to guard against turnovers, but other than that, just play our balanced game. We are probably one of the better defenses the Vols will play this season.

If we continue to play well, I think we get an 8-to-10-point win. However, there's a part of me that thinks our depth will give us a blow-out win similar to that against UK.

I think what Lamont said at the end of this Mizzou interview sums us up best right now.

"If they like us, they like us. If they don't, then they'll pay the price."

That good ole Cocky roundball vision and swagger.

Gamecocks lead 30-26 at the halftime. Neither team has shot well in the 1st half - USC at .367 (11-30), and UT at .364 (12-33). Fouls (6 for USC, 5 for UT) and turnovers (3 for each) are very low. The Gamecocks have shot 4-6 from the foul line, while the Vols have yet to take a free throw attempt.....

Both teams struggling to make shots. Gamecocks have been fouling Tennessee, sending them to the free throw, where they have been generating their points. Need to stop that.

Gamecocks lead 51-45 with 5 minutes to play....

Tennessee hits the three to pull the score to 59-56. Vols call a timeout. On the inbounds, Stute is fouled. He makes both - 61-56 with 23 seconds left. Vols hit another three out the ass to pull within 3 again 61-59.

Another UT TO. Another foul on Stute. HE HITS BOTH!!! 63-59 Gamecocks! 4 seconds left. Tennessee gets the ball, but they trail by 4 pts. - they take a three - it MISSES! GAME OVER - GAMECOCKS WIN 63-59!!!

Huge win and back to back statement games for Coach Paris and the Gamecocks!! They beat a really good team on the road and didn't play close to their potential, they won ugly, with defense, sticking to the game plan and never panicking!

Talon Cooper continues to impress, I can't say enough about that young man's poise and ability to stay calm in the moment.
Nice to see Stute come back and play one of his better games on both ends, I believe sitting on the bench and watching helped him figure out how to better let the game come to him...
Mack is a beast and if Gray continues to play like he has in the last 3 games we can compete with anyone in the country!

Rather than see the novelty of beating two Top Ten teams within a week, I just see the same successful system that's been in place since the beginning of the season.

It's not when we are going to stop, but who is going to stop us now.
