2 star LB Kight Dallas (6-2 220) of Lithonia, GA committed to USC Thursday while visiting the campus with his mother and a friend. Dallas was offered by USC defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward a few weeks ago, and Thursday was his first visit to the school. "South Carolina is beautiful," he said. "I loved the campus and the stadium. I love everything about South Carolina." Dallas said the Gamecocks like him as a will linebacker or a spur. "They will have room on the depth chart because of people graduating," he said. "I like how their defense can adjust to almost any offense. They are athletic and fast." Dallas also has offers from Wake Forest, Auburn, North Carolina and NC State. He's also visited Clemson, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Troy, Middle Tennessee State and Wake forest and said he might take some more visits. Dallas is the fourth commitment of the 2013 class for the Gamecocks. Link: http://www.goupstate...9818/-1/psports

Dallas says USC pledge is strong

LB Kight Dallas of Stone Mountain, GA committed to USC in April but has given thought to visiting other places. Despite that, Dallas said there’s no doubt he’ll sign with USC in February. “I’m 100% committed to South Carolina but I might take other visits,” Dallas said. “They don’t mind. They are alright with it. I’ve talked to Coach Ward about it. I’m 100% Gamecock.” Dallas has not visited anywhere this summer. He has talked to Cal, Purdue and Houston about official visits “just to see some other places.” Dallas planned to visit USC Thursday with teammate Ali Groves but is not going to be able to make it. Dallas played for Team USA in the recent all-star games in Austin, TX.

Dallas says all good with USC

USC LB commitment Kight Dallas of Stone Mountain, GA made an official visit to Cal earlier in the month but he contends he's still strong with his USC commitment. "Cal was alright but it was kid of cold and I don't like cold weather," Dallas said. "It was a beautiful place but it was too far. I'm not taking any more visits during the season. I'm going to focus on my season." Dallas said USC is his only definite official visit at this point and he has talked to too many other schools. He said he might try to get to USC for the Tennessee game. "My USC commitment is solid," he said. In his last game, Dallas totaled 15 tackles with 3 for losses and a sack. link: http://www.goupstate.com/article/20121024/PSPORTS02/121029822/-1/PSPORTS
