Junior OL Christian Taylor injury keeps him home Saturday

11/02/12

3 star Junior OL Christian Taylor 6'5" 330lbs of White Knoll broke his foot Tuesday and is out for the season. The injury affects his plans to travel this weekend. "Wake Forest still wants me to come up there Saturday but I'm not going now," Taylor said. "I may go there later this season." The break is to his fifth metatarsal bone on his left foot. "I've been playing with it broken for about six weeks and it finally gave in," he said. He has surgery set for next week. The injury will not affect future plans. "I'm flying up to Michigan on the 17th...I believe that's the Iowa game," said Taylor . "I think they could be offering me soon." As for distance to home, that is not a problem for him. "I kind of want to get away from home and be my own man for a while," he admitted. His current offers are from Coastal Carolina and NC State with interest from USC, Clemson, North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest among others. Taylor plans to get to Death Valley for a game and is considering visits to Wake Forest, Duke or UNC. He did not name a favorite.link: http://www.goupstate.com/article/20121101/PSPORTS02/121109975/-1/PSPORTS
