Is it a negative that we only end up with 4 instate recruits?

All things considered its a down year in SC for talent...but we will be shut out of the top 5 for the fiorst time since Lou Holtz in 1999. It kind of tells me that we are perceived better out of state than in state/ It tells me we miss Ellis Johnson in state recruiting ability. Ellis would seem to lock on to the one or two high priority in state kids and reel them in each year... It seems that our remaining targets are out of state targets

1. Talent is way down so I don't see why we would be pushing hard for a weaker player just because he's from SC. 2. Hill will be a gamecock. 3. It's still July signing day is more than 6 months away. just b/c our class is about filled doesn't mean recruiting is over.
