Gamecocks basketball team prepares for trip to the Bahamas (AUDIO/VIDEO)
By Phil Kornblut / August 2, 2023The USC football team opens fall practice Friday. The men’s basketball team, however, has been practicing for several days. The Gamecocks are leaving for the Bahamas Thursday and will be there through August 8th. They will play a pair of games against teams from Lithuania and Argentina.
Coach Lamont Paris, because of the overseas trip, which is allowed once every four years, gets an additional ten days of practice with his team. One of those practices was held Wednesday afternoon and much of it was opened to the media. Paris also took questions from reporters after the practice. (LINK TO ARTICLE)
