Georgia's Defense vs South Carolina's Defense

- South Carolina only surrenders 288 yds/game (13th in the FBS)

- Georgia surrenders 370 yds/game (55th in the FBS)

- South Carolina only allows 11.7 points/game (6th in the FBS)

- Georgia allows 22 points/game (tied for 46th in the FBS)

- South Carolina allows only 77.6 rushing yds/game (7th in the FBS)

- Georgia allows 147 rushing yds/game (57th in the FBS)

- South Carolina has allowed only 39 points in the Red Zone (tied for 14th in FBS)

- Georgia has allowed 69 (47th in the FBS)

But perhaps the most telling piece of information of all...

- South Carolina averages 4.4 sacks/game (22 total, 2nd in FBS)

- Georgia averages 1.6 sacks/game (tied for 79th in the FBS)

All I hear on ESPN is Georgia's Defense, Defense, Defense. You would think that Georgia was Alabama East the way that the talking heads fawn over Georgia's alleged "defense". However, in the same breath, they chose to gloss over South Carolina's defense and make these cloudy arguments about our "question marks".

Men lie. Women lie. Numbers don't...
