Thanks Audi for getting the game thread going!! Will be very windy day 20 to 30 mile winds might affect the hitting tofay.

Two lead off singles by Mooney and then Cone to start the bottom 2nd.

Runners 1st and 2nd, no outs

 
Bride grounds out to end the inning. #Gamecocks get a double but nothing comes of it. 4-4, end 5th.

 
Mooney hit a slow roller to short. Was on first before the ball got to him. 5-4 #Gamecocks now. Runners on the corners, one out for Cone.

 
Cone skies one to short but not before the #Gamecocks plate two on a RBI single and a run scored on a rundown. 6-4, USC, end 6th.

 
Fly out to right and the #Vols go quietly in the seventh. It's their first 1-2-3 inning all day. 6-4 #Gamecocks at the stretch.

 
Bride called for a questionable strike three. Holbrook out to argue and got red in the face. #Gamecocks lead 6-4, end 7th.

 
Foul pop up and Tolbert corrals it. Vols do no damage in the eighth. #Gamecocks lead 6-4, mid 8th. Cullen, Hopkins, Arendas due up.

 
We have a pitching change. Alex Harper-Cook in to pitch for the #Vols. He inherits runners on second and third. Facing Cone with two outs.
