Gamecocks Interested in Grad Transfer Jordan Bruner

Recommended Posts

That's an interesting development. I read an article on ESPN a month or so ago about the Ivy League not allow redshirts or post-graduates to play. Bruner was one of the players mentioned that would be forced to pursue other opportunities to keep playing college ball. If we can make the numbers work, I'd take him. I'm still a little on the fence about having to get grad transfers though (I'd rather us be in a position to not need to get grad transfers, but take them when they fall in your lap). Considering the relative inexperience in the post next season, I think we should jump at the chance to get him.

Welp. There goes that possibility.

Yep, everything I was able to find, we weren't even mentioned as an option. And I don't think we impressed him much the first time around when we recruited him, if we did all that much. Maybe he didn't want to be looked as following in his older sister's footsteps, but I wasn't putting up much hope for him. It would've been nice to get him, though....
