Two Gamecock signees make big jump in final 247 rankings, one gets fourth star

Gamecock tight end signee Eric Shaw made a big move in the final  SEE LIST:  247Sports rankings released Tuesday afternoon.

Shaw, who played at Reeltown High School in Alabama, moved up more than 200 spots to 106 for Class of 2020 and is a four-star prospect. He had 132 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, three sacks, six forced fumbles, and three interceptions this season.

Abbeville offensive lineman and Gamecock signee Trai Jones also made a big jump from 366 to 242 and is now a four-star prospect.

Five-star Jordan Burch was the highest ranked Gamecock commit/signee in the rankings. The Hammond defensive end was 17th in the rankings, a drop of nine spots. Burch didn’t sign with South Carolina in the early period and will have his signee at 1 p.m. on Feb. 5.
