This is not an impeachment process

NewIf the reporting is correct, it implies the “whistleblower” could have been worried Trump was getting close to uncovering Democrat links to Ukraine’s interference in US elections in 2016....

Ciaramella worked with a Democratic National Committee operative who dug up dirt on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, inviting her into the White House for meetings, former White House colleagues said. The operative, Alexandra Chalupa, a Ukrainian-American who supported Hillary Clinton, led an effort to link the Republican campaign to the Russian government. “He knows her. He had her in the White House,” said one former co-worker, who requested anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter.

The disclosure from Gordon D. Sondland, the United States ambassador to the European Union, in four new pages of sworn testimony released on Tuesday, confirmed his involvement in essentially laying out a quid pro quo to Ukraine that he had previously not acknowledged.

The testimony offered several major new details beyond the account he gave the inquiry in a 10-hour interview last month. Mr. Sondland provided a more robust description of his own role in alerting the Ukrainians that they needed to go along with investigative requests being demanded by the president’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani. By early September, Mr. Sondland said, he had become convinced that military aid and a White House meeting were conditioned on Ukraine committing to those investigations.

In July, then-National Security Adviser John Bolton cut short a meeting with Ukrainian officials when U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland proclaimed that investigating former Vice President Joseph Biden and others would be the price of an Oval Office meeting for Ukraine’s president. This according to a transcript of testimony by Alexander Vindman, the director for European Affairs on the National Security Council and a decorated lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army. Vindman called the prerequisite inappropriate.

Adam Schiff won’t allow the whistleblower to testify.

And there’s only one reason for this - because he’s full of shit.

He coached this “whistleblower” not knowing Trump would release the full transcript.

If the whistleblower had a real case, he’d be testifying in a heartbeat.

Friendly reminder.

Obama fired a 24 year ATF employee for blowing the whistle on his Fast & Furious scandal which put thousands of guns into the hands of Mexican cartels & lead to the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

But the left wants to pretend that never happened.

Still clueless about what that transcript actually is, even still it admits he was asking a foreign entity to investigate a political opponent in exchange for something

President Trump ordered a freeze on nearly $400 million in U.S. military aid to Ukraine and said he’d only release it if the country agreed to investigate his political rivals — even though his own Defense and State Departments advised against it and raised concern about the legality of the shakedown, according to a senior Pentagon official.

Laura Cooper, a deputy assistant defense secretary overseeing U.S. policy on Ukraine, told House impeachment investigators during her Oct. 23 deposition the White House was advised that withholding the aid would put the American ally in a tough spot as it sought to broker a peace deal with Russia, according to a transcript of the closed-door testimony released Monday.
