What Gamecocks can expect from GG Jackson (AUDIO)

6-10 GG Jackson of Ridge View stunned the college basketball world this month when he decommitted from North Carolina and eventually committed to South Carolina. With the Tar Heels, Jackson would have been just another All-American in their rotation. With the Gamecocks, he will be the All-American, and with that will come the heavy expectation to lead the program at least to the NCAA Tournament this season.
No one knows Jackson’s game better than his high school coach, Yerrick Stoneman. He nurtured Jackson from a skinny youth to a full-blown dominator that led the Blazers to the 5A State Championship last season. Stoneman is now the head coach at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. He joined us last night on SportsTalk to share high thoughts on what Lamont Paris will have in GG Jackson.
