A true slice of Americana has come to an end with the passing of Shirley Temple last night. I grew up on the Good Ship Lollipop and so enjoyed her cute smile and her talents throughout my adult life. She was truly an icon of entertainment. She will be missed.

 
Didn't she get out of the acting spotlight when she was 21?

Would have loved to have seen some films with her as an adult.

Saw advertisement for Heidi the other day.  I remember watching her stuff as a child.  Good entertainer..
