3 star 6-6 PF 195 lbs Michael Carrera of Rockville, MD is making an official visit to USC today and, according to Gamecock guard Eric Smith, has committed to the Gamecocks. Smith tweeted Thursday night that Carrera plans to sign with the Gamecocks. Carrera is a native of Venuzeula. He also has offers from Gonzaga, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss. He averaged about 12 points per game last season.
