LB Devaris Brunson of Lake City committed to East Carolina earlier in the week. Brunson also had an offer from NC State. Clemson, Ohio State and Purdue also showed interest in Brunson who had 174 tackles and 10 sacks last season.
Columbia High WR Casey Gladney, an Alabama signee, did not qualify for freshman eligibility according to his coach and will enroll at Copiah-Lincoln JC in Mississippi. His teammate, LB Ky Tyler, will enroll this fall at Georgia Military JC.
