  11. Yeah, I wouldn't know about anything that happened at the school that long ago. I know Gene though. He's still very involved at AJA. The football team plays now at Hallman Sease Field. Hallman is Gene's father. I don't doubt what you're saying at all. The only disconnect is that I found this website that has the entire history of SCISA football. This site has schedules and scores dating back to the 1970's. The only problem is it hasn't been updated for the last 2 years. But, it has AJA fielding a team every year in the 80's with scores and schedules so not sure what the deal is there. I went looking for this a few days ago to see how many state titles AJA has now in football. I certainly knew the school had won 4 titles in the last 5 years. And, I knew there was another 3-peat back in the day which happened 1996-98. This site also has them winning state in 1978. So, that's a total of 8 state championships. If this site is accurate, it has only 3 SCISA schools with more state titles in its history...........Hammond with 14; Thomas Heyward and Wardlaw just ahead of AJA with 9.
