During this year's campaign, the Gamecocks will visit the Dorn VA Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald House, while also helping with a Habitat for Humanity project. Carolina will spend time at the YMCA, as well as with the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department, in addition to visiting Transitions, Sowing Seeds and the Harvest Hope Food Bank.
"The 8K Campaign is always a great and well organized event," senior forward Maik Kotsar said. "We get the chance to help those in need and give back to the community that gives so much to us."
