With what we lose are the replacements an upgrade? In some cases yes.
TJ Johnson. Cody Waldrop has never played a college snap but will return 4 starters around him so OL should improve.
Justice Cunningham. Jerell Adams big time talent. But you can't replace that senior leadership. Talent is there though.
Qua Gilchrist. FB is a position that is usually filled by someone unknown so not sure about that.
Kenny Miles. The combo of Carson, Wilds, Davis and Salley should upgrade Kenny Miles effectively.
Devin Taylor. Chaz Sutton more explosive and not passive like Taylor. Upgrade.
Byron Jerideau. Space Eater. Dixon Jr and Surratt have shown to be capable and with another year to get stronger we should be fine there.
LB. Downgrade until something's changes as far as bodies.
Devonte Holloman. Big 4 years here. Golightly should start early on but Jordan Diggs will eventually prove to be an Upgrade here.
Sweainger. Downgrade. Team captain and leader. Impossible to replace by one person next year.
Akeem Aguste. Jimmy Legree with experience this year should be an upgrade.
